Sherika McTavish, one of our dedicated full-time Kickboxing Instructors, has been an integral part of Purple Dragon Martial Arts for over 15 years. Known for her ever-bubbly and soft-spoken demeanour, she transforms into a warrior in the Fit-Kick Boxing Class, earning her the affectionate nickname ‘Smiling Monster.’
Ms. McTavish has a remarkable ability to connect with children and is proudly certified in CPR, ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants. Shihan Floyd's teaching style is dynamic, and his humble personality creates an engaging learning environment. His dedication to martial arts began in Trinidad under the guidance of Professor Anthony Thompson.
Geddes Hislop
His martial arts journey in 1985 at the Purple Dragon World Headquarters. Initially in search of an Aikido program, he couldn't help but be captivated by the allure of Don Jitsu Ryu, particularly its fascinating weapons aspect.
